I’m the heart behind Being Joy Photography. Based in Wheaton and serving Chicago and beyond, I photograph weddings and families with a connection-first approach. I believe photography is about so much more than a pretty picture. It is about connection, trust, and the stories we carry with us through every season of life. I’m drawn to the in-between moments, the quiet glances, the laughter that sneaks up on you, and the way love shows up when you’re not trying.
My clients often become familiar faces year after year, and that continuity is what allows me to photograph them honestly and with heart. While I love a little magic, I am definitely more of a Moana than a Cinderella. I am not afraid to climb, move, or go after the shot if that is what it takes to tell your story well.
