The Monte Bello Estate Wedding | Joy + Michael

The love spread across her face was apparent as she walked down the steps that lead to her soon to be husband. This was the first time they would see each other on their wedding day. An intimate moment. No one insight. It was just for the two of them. As Joy stepped onto the bridge where Michael was waiting you could practically see the butterflies in their stomach's fluttering around them in giddy anticipation. With every step her smile spread wider and wider, until, she was finally there. She slowly lifted her hand and tapped him on the shoulder. As Michael turned around tears glistened in her eyes. This was the moment they had been waiting for. They had awakened every morning counting the days, and it was finally here. The world fell away as they held each other tightly. It was just the two of them and their love. A moment to really take each other in and express their love.

That is what I witnessed during Joy and Michael's first look. It is the reason I love first looks so much. The intimacy felt in that moment is un-measurable. The pressure of knowing everyone is watching you is gone. It's just about you and the person you love. Joy's entrance down the aisle was just as magical. The tears still glistened in her eyes. Michael beamed from ear to ear with her every step. How amazing to share a love like that. To witness a love like that.

I loved every minute of Joy and Michael's wedding day from start to finish. Watching two people in love never gets old. It inspires hope. And, it was not only their love that was felt, but the love that surrounds them. Their bridal party was amazing. Their parents were so sweet and bundles of fun. All of the guests that came from near and far to share in their love and the love they gave to the ones that weren't able to be present, but were greatly missed.

Joy and Michael, it was an absolutely magical day. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it by trusting my artistic abilities. I have loved getting to know you both (and Fritz) throughout the entire process. Your passion for life is inspiring and your love for others is true.
