The Drake in Oak Brook Summer Wedding | Erin & Joey

The moment I saw Erin and Joey I already felt a connection. Mostly because Erin is much shorter than her now hubby, Joey. Just like myself and Haris. Then I started chatting with them and they are both two of the sweetest people with huge hearts.

The pair got married at the Drake in Oak Brook on a beautiful summer day in June. You could tell they really poured their heart and soul into planning their wedding. So many small details. My three favorites were the custom beer cans complete with water breathing Luna on cicadas and a playful story about the design, the custom cookies she had made for each vendor as a small thank you by Simply Sweet Carolines (who was also the maid of honor in her wedding) and the collection of notes from her third grade students written to Joey as part of his gift. It truly was an unforgettable day for an unforgettable couple.
