The Drake in Oak Brook Summer Wedding | Alexa & Trace

There are a few moments that will stand out in my memory about Alexa & Trace's wedding at the Drake in Oak Brook. The first, is how sweet their family and friends was. Everyone went above and beyond to help one another. The second, how much Trace and Alexa valued spending time with their loved ones. Never have I had a couple block out an hour in the middle of their day just to spend time with their immediate family and wedding party. That says a lot about who they are as people and what they value most. Lastly, the thing that sticks out most, was watching them truly appreciate their day.

It was the end of the night, we were outside setting up for the last of the nighttime shots and I looked over to see Alexa & Trace standing at the far end of the property near the fountain talking to one another and taking it all in. They were far away from everyone, but from their body language it was apparent. Love and gratitude. That is the moment I think I will remember most from their day. They way they looked at each other then back at the celebration happening in front of them with so much love. It was truly something to witness.

Alexa and Trace, thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a special day. I am truly so blessed to work with such amazing couples like yourselves. I wish you all nothing but love and laughter for all the years ahead. Congrats!!
