When I first saw the email from Amy that she had gotten engaged and wanted me to photograph her wedding I was ecstatic! Amy was the sister of Liz, a past bride of mine, and they both were just so incredibly sweet. I couldn't wait to hang with them again this summer.
Amy and Ryan and simply adorable together. Their personalities complement each other so perfectly and it's clear to see they are head over heels in love. The pair choose The Riviera to get married because Lake Geneva holds a special place in Amy's heart. Her family has been taking yearly trips the lake for roughly twenty years. A tradition first started by her Grandmother (I believe). Family is truly important to both Amy and Ryan. Every time Amy saw someone she knew she greeted them warmly with a huge smile. It didn't matter if they were next to her or a hundred feet away. When I first walked into the hotel Amy happened to be walking my way and greeted me with as much excitement as she would have a long time friend. That is just the kind person she is. Ryan too. After the ceremony I got to talk to him for the first time and I was greeted with a huge hug and thank you. Such a gift to have met such awesome humans. I am truly blessed.
Amy and Ryan, I have no doubt there will be many years of love and laughter in your future. I wish you both all the best! Don't be a stranger!
