Elements at Hotel Indigo Wedding | Susan & Brandon

The hotel room at Hotel Indigo was filled with laughter as I stepped inside the bride's getting ready room on the morning of their wedding. Susan greeted me with a huge hug, which is always an amazing start to any day. The bridesmaids were spread between the two rooms looking beautiful in their matching floral robes. As she led me further into the space I caught a glimpse of her elegant wedding dress hanging against a soft beige wall in the bathroom. The dress was simple, yet classic with a beautiful lace overlay around the bodice of the dress. However, what makes this wedding gown extraordinary is the fact that it was made by Susan's Mom, Ellen.

Throughout the entire wedding there were small personal touches: floral arrangements created by a family friend, a table lined with family portraits from generations past, a tree planted in memory of Susan's grandfather located next to the church where we stopped to capture a photo. Every detail special. All with a purpose.

Susan and Brandon, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I have loved getting to know you both throughout the process. You both have incredible devotion not only to each other, but to the ones you care about most in your life. I love that you spend time together every day to and from work because anyone that knows you knows how much pride you take in your work. I still can't believe how many hours you work each week! I hope you are both enjoying your time off together as you road trip to south for your honeymoon for some much deserved R & R. Congratulations to you both! Wishing you many more years of love and laughter! Hugs, Joy
