It was the most beautiful late summer day in September. The perfect day for an outdoor, vineyard wedding. Carly and Dan are just the sweetest. It is a no brainer to see how the pair ended up as husband and wife.
Like many wedding days, we had a few hiccups along the way. Today it happened to be wardrobe malfunctions with a faulty bridesmaids dress zipper and the tearing of the bustle (that one is pretty common). However, both issues were resolved quickly and the day was filled with lots of love and laughter.
One of the things I loved most about Carly and Dan's wedding day was their private vows. After their initial first look, the couple decided to read their handwritten vows to one another then, without an audience. Neither one likes the spot like on them so they appreciated the comfort that the private vow reading provided. It was magical to watch. I have never seen Dan smile quite as big as he did at that moment. And Carly, well, think of a slowly dripping faucet that you can't quite shut off. All happy tears of course!
Congratulations Carly and Dan! It was an honor to have been a part of your wedding day. I loved getting to know you both as well as your family and friends!!! Cheers!!!
