Not only is Beauty and the Beast Nicolette's favorite Disney movie (mine too!), but I feel like the lyrics sum up their relationship perfectly. From the beginning stages of coaching separate teams from afar (and Nicolette being too shy to really connect), to a complete shift when another coach quit bringing their two teams to train together. After weeks of talking basketball Matt decide this whole ignoring the elephant in the room was not working anymore. Their chemistry was undeniable and they should just go for it. Four years later this amazing couple is standing at the altar, becoming husband and wife.

From thumbs up to high fives to chest bumps to pointing to tears, their day was absolutely filled with a mix of the best possible emotions. Two of the most down-to-earth people I think you'll ever meet. Destined to be together. The perfect fit. And, while I think Nicolette is definitely more of a Mulan than a Belle, she definitely found her happily ever after.

One of the sweetest moments from their day, and there are a LOT, was when Matt asked me to sneak Nicolette outside after their dances so they could have fifteen minutes of quiet together under the stars. Talk about romantic!

Nicolette and Matthew, it was pure bliss to watch you two together. To witness not only the tender moments, but to see the joy on each of your faces as you both constantly made each other laugh. I have no doubt that you will keep on laughing for years and years to come. I hope you had a fantastic few days at Starved Rock and when the time comes, I know whatever lucky baby joins your family will be truly blessed and loved. Congrats to you both! XOXO Joy
